    Everyday I try to eat a green salad for dinner, no matter what’s on the other meal menu. It’s easy to toss together and goes well with EVERY meal. The reason why green salad is so great is because it’s actually very healthy and really easy to make. A lot of people don’t like eating salad because they think that it’s boring. Nothing could be further from the truth.

    When you make a simple green salad recipe, you are proving to yourself that you can eat healthy and not have to rely on someone else to do it for you. The meal is easy enough to make that it goes without saying that you shouldn’t skip steps when making it. A lot of people think that making a green salad takes hours, but it’s only a few minutes. Now who doesn’t want to get out of the house and start eating healthy?

    To make the perfect green salad, all you have to do is mix chopped romaine lettuce, chopped dark green vegetables (broccoli, spinach, celery), and chopped zucchini or even red or purple bell pepper. Then I throw in some cherry tomatoes and mix it all up with some lemon juice. And viola! Your done. You have a tasty and delicious meal that you can heat up, eat cold if you want (I usually enjoy it warm) and it is a very good way to get your kids to eat vegetables.
